We plant native trees where people ask for them, and we move books from shelves where they sit unread to children who would read them. Both need more hands than we have.
What we are working on now
Build the plantation map for the coming monsoon
Before the next planting season we are collecting suggested locations from residents, schools and panchayats across the district, and matching each one against native species that will survive there. If you know a patch of ground that needs trees, that is the single most useful thing you can give us right now.

Plant what belongs here
Species are chosen for this arid belt and with the people who live beside them — never for how quickly they photograph well.

Budget for the years after
A sapling in the ground is not an outcome. Watering, mulching and replacing losses is planned before a drive is scheduled.

Hand over the keys
Locations are proposed by residents, schools and panchayats. Our job is to help, not to own the site afterwards.

Publish what actually happened
We would rather show an empty page than a number nobody can check. Figures appear here only once they are recorded and dated.
